TripUp is a mobile app that helps people meet with others who want to travel together and plan their trip in an efficient way. The app includes guides, recommendations, and trips you can join, giving users the tools they need to plan and share their trips.

Our 2 main challenges were:
1. In order to plan a trip, users relay on multiple different apps for different purposes (for example - book reservations, split expenses, organization of time, etc.), and there is not a single interface that includes all the needs for planning the trip.
2. There are many platforms to find partners you can travel with, yet on none of these platforms a user can get enough information regarding other users and their intentions to gain the trust to travel with them.

Research:
To understand how to simplify the experience of the users of planning their trip and what features does our app need to have, we have interviewed ten potential users about their planning process.
We have discovered that in order to plan a trip, a user has to use at least 6 different applications to do so. At the same time, the interview showed us that people having trouble searching partners to travel with and they would prefer one place to meet up.
Solution:
- Providing a single platform that answers all of the issues we encountered
- Exploration of others' travel plans you can join
- Travel guides created by users of the places they traveled and using them for your own plans
- A shared trip platform for the participates to track their expenses, reservation, chat with each other
and even share pictures and documents.
